Terms of Use

This site is provided for general information about the cafe. We do our best to keep it accurate and up to date but we don't guarantee that everything is error-free or always available. You agree not to use this site in a way that could damage it or interfere with other people's use of it.

Menu items, ingredients, prices, and opening hours can change at short notice. The most up-to-date information is what's on the menu boards and tills in the cafe. Photos on this site are for illustration and actual dishes may vary.

Our kitchen handles gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, seeds, soy, sesame, and other common allergens. While we take care to prepare each order properly, we can't guarantee that any dish is free from traces of allergens. If you have a food allergy, intolerance, or dietary requirement, please tell our team before you order.

We offer dine-in and counter service during opening hours. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. We don't take reservations. We reserve the right to refuse service where we reasonably need to, including for safety or behaviour reasons.

The entrance, seating, and nearby parking are wheelchair accessible. If you have specific access needs, give us a call ahead of time and we'll do our best to help.

You can order takeaway at the counter. Delivery is available through third-party platforms. When you order via a delivery platform, that platform's terms and privacy policy apply to their part of the service (delivery, tracking, tips, refunds for delivery issues, and so on).

We accept EFTPOS, major credit and debit cards (including Mastercard), and contactless (NFC) payments. Prices include GST where applicable.

If something's wrong with your food or drink, please tell us right away and we'll make it right, whether that's remaking the item, swapping it, or a refund. Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986 are not affected by anything in these terms.

All content on this site, including photos, text, logos, and the teacup mark, is owned by The Annexe Cafe or used with permission. You may view and share the pages for personal, non-commercial use. Please contact us if you'd like to reproduce anything, including for press or partnerships.

This site links to third-party services such as Google Maps, Instagram, and Facebook. We don't control those sites and we're not responsible for their content or practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, The Annexe Cafe is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 when dealing with us as a consumer.

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any dispute will be dealt with in the New Zealand courts.
